My name is Malariny. I am a licensed surface pattern designer and illustrator based in Sri Lanka.
I have been passionate about art since I was a little kid in nursery school. But it only occurred to me to pursue art as a career when I studied science in university.

Nature and timeless vintage art are my major sources of inspiration. I love to create painterly and organic art using digital media, so my go-to design software for creating illustrations and pattern designs is Adobe Photoshop.

When I am not working, I love to spend my time reading books, gardening, or spending time with our cats. I am a big Bullet Journaling enthusiast. I use a second brain system in notion and bullet journals for organising my art business and personal life.
